After School Classes - NEWTON

After School Sewing Classes — Ages 6+

 

Our After School Sewing Classes are for children ages 6 and up. No prior sewing experience is necessary! Students will learn the basics of machine and hand sewing while working on fun, creative projects with guidance from our instructors.

 

Students will learn skills such as threading a needle, basic hand-sewing stitches, and how to safely operate a sewing machine. All materials and supplies are included.

 

Flexible Registration

There are no set sessions for our After School Classes. Choose the dates that work best for your schedule and register for 1, 2, 3, or 4 classes at a time.

 

Classes are $50 each, or book 4 classes for $160 and save $40.

 

Minimum Enrollment

A minimum of 4 students is required for each class to run. If a selected class date does not reach minimum enrollment, we will contact you with available options, including joining a waitlist for another date or receiving a refund.

 

Missed Classes

We are unable to offer makeup classes for missed classes. Please double-check your selected dates and times before registering.

Good

My girls have loved going to Hipstich the past couple years. What makes it such a great experience isn't just the sewing, but the people there. Amy is awesome. She is friendly, fun, and patient with the kids. They really love learning from her. They did not have the same experience this time around, as Amy wasn't there and the majority of the kids in attendance were quite young. The lead teachers were fine, but not as warm and friendly as teachers they've had in the past.

Eva and Bailey do a great job setting up the classes and ensuring they are engaging for the students. My daughter really loves the classes where she can learn new sewing methods and techniques and then carry forward that knowledge with at home projects.

My daughter age 8 loves these focused, hands on sewing classes. She has a sewing machine at home and these small group classes helped her start sewing clothes
