Policies

HipStitch Policies

Please take a few moments to review our studio policies below. These guidelines help us keep our studios running smoothly and ensure a wonderful experience for everyone.

1. Camp Policies

Camp Cancellations

We understand that plans sometimes change. Our cancellation policy is outlined below to help families plan accordingly.

Cancellations Made 30 or More Days in Advance

  • A full refund will be provided.

Cancellations Made at Least 48 Hours in Advance

  • A $50 cancellation fee will apply.
  • The remaining balance will be issued as a credit.
  • Credits expire six months from the date they are issued.

Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours in Advance

  • The full camp cost will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be issued.

Blackout Dates

The following dates are excluded from the standard cancellation policy:

  • February school vacation week
  • April school vacation week
  • The final week of June, when school lets out
  • August 24–28
  • August 31–September 4

Absences Due to Illness or COVID-19

Absences due to COVID-19 are treated the same as absences due to any other illness. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds or credits for individual camp days missed due to illness or quarantine.

Snacks, Lunch & Water

  • Morning camp: One snack break and one lunch break.
  • Afternoon camp: One snack break.
  • Full-day camp: Two snack breaks and one lunch break.

For everyone's safety, please do not pack any foods containing peanuts or tree nuts.

Please pack a water bottle for any camp session you sign up for

Early Drop-Off & Late Pick-Up

  • Extended hours: With advance registration, campers may be dropped off as early as 8:00 AM and picked up as late as 5:00 PM.

Grace Periods & Late Fees

We offer a 15-minute grace period after your registered pick-up time, provided your scheduled pick-up time is before 5:00 PM.

For pick-ups scheduled at 5:00 PM, a 5-minute grace period is provided. After that, a late fee of $10 will apply for every additional 5 minutes.

2. Birthday Party Policies

Deposits, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Once a birthday party reservation is confirmed and has been paid for, the payment is nonrefundable. 

We will do our best to accommodate requests to reschedule your party if needed, subject to availability.

3. Class Policies

Class Cancellations, Refunds & Make-Up Classes

To help us keep our classes running smoothly and give other students the opportunity to participate, we kindly ask that you let us know as early as possible if your plans change.

Because class spots are reserved in advance, we are unable to offer refunds, credits, or make-up classes for missed sessions.

4. Weather-Related Cancellations & Studio Closures

Your family's safety is important to us. If HipStitch needs to cancel a class or camp due to inclement weather, we will notify parents by email or phone at least 1.5 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • One-time camps: A credit will be issued if a camp is canceled by HipStitch.
  • Recurring classes: A makeup class will be scheduled if a class is canceled by HipStitch.
