After School CLOTHING Class - BROOKLINE

There are no set sessions for our after school classes. Admission is rolling, so sign up any time by picking the day that works best for your schedule. Once registered, the class runs 4 weeks from the start date. This program launches on Saturday, November 15th; all enrollments after that date will continue on a rolling basis. 

Ready to take your sewing skills to the next level? In this four-week class, young makers (ages 6-14) will focus exclusively on sewing clothing! Students will learn how to read and follow patterns, assemble garments step-by-step, and make creative tweaks to add their own flair. From comfy tops to cool skirts or shorts, everyone will complete stylish, wearable pieces they’ll be proud to show off. Students can even create coordinating accessories like headbands, scrunchies, bucket hats, or tote bags.

Unlike our popular Fashion Design Class, which centers on sketching and designing original looks, this class is all about making — building sewing confidence while learning the techniques that bring fashion to life. Students will use Hipstitch’s curated pattern collection (with options for personalization) and gain practical experience with fabric selection, fit, and finishing touches.

No prior experience is required — just enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for making things you can actually wear!

All materials are supplied for each class.

Our After School Classes are offered in Four Week Blocks for $160.00 with ongoing registration.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any makeup classes. A missed class is considered a class towards the 4 week session. This allows our staff to plan and offer the best instruction possible for your little ones. Please be sure to check the dates and times prior to enrolling.

We need at least four students to run our classes.

If a class does not receive FOUR sign ups we will notify you and the start date will either be pushed back or you will be refunded.
