A blanket of white covers the ground.  Crisp frosty air has taken over the shortened days.   The holidays are officially in full swing.  I don't know about you, but for me this means conquering the art of gift making.  Do you ever feel that you miss out on the spirit of the holidays because you are rushing from store to store?  I certainly do. Let's make this season about spending time with family, friends and neighbors.  Let's make it memorable and personable.   How do we do that, you ask?  Be thoughtful, creative and personal in your gift giving.  Hand making your gifts this season is a lovely way to show the people around you how much they mean to you.  Getting the whole family involved creates new traditions you can share for years to come.

At the studio, kids are always busy creating and making gifts for others.  Whether it's PJ pants for dad,  tea towels for mom or blankets for a brother or sister, the excitement is abuzz.

This past week our studio participated in the annual "Art Stroll and Shop" in the wee village of West Newton.  We opened the studio up to kids so they could make some handmade gifts while their parents shopped our hand made gifts.  A win win for all.

From Team HipStitch, we wish you all a wonderful holiday season!  See you next year!
